About Us
Bettina S. Lippisch, AIGP, CIPM is a technology strategist and enterprise leader specializing in AI governance, data privacy, and responsible AI strategy. She coined the terms Shadow Data and Dynamic Governance to describe the accountability and consent gaps introduced by modern AI systems — concepts now formalized through published work and governance training delivered under M3AAWG (Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group).
As VP of Privacy, AI & Data Governance at Omeda, Bettina oversees governance, AI strategy, and compliance across 500M+ PII records and 200+ enterprise clients. Her work is defined by a single conviction: that trust is not a soft value — it is a strategic asset, and it must be designed into every data and AI initiative from the start.
With over 20 years of experience leading enterprise transformation across media, technology, publishing, and SaaS, Bettina brings rare depth to the intersection of AI strategy, privacy, and governance. She has modernized legacy infrastructures, led enterprise-wide compliance programs, and helped organizations translate complex regulatory requirements into competitive advantage.
Bettina holds certifications as an Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), dual MBAs in Technology Management and Global Enterprise Management, and a Harvard Business School certificate in Data Privacy and Technology. She is a contributing author to The AI Universe: Thriving Within Civilization's Next Big Disruption (Thin Leaf Press, 2025), a bestselling anthology on AI strategy and governance.
A frequent keynote speaker, advisor, and panelist, Bettina guides senior executives on implementing AI governance and responsible data strategy as a driver of enterprise growth. She serves as an Expert at Primary Venture Partners, supporting early-stage founders navigating AI and data strategy. She also serves as co-chair of the German-American Scholarship Association in New York City.
Having lived and worked across the US and Europe, Bettina brings a transatlantic perspective to AI governance — one that bridges the regulatory rigor of the EU AI Act with the pragmatic demands of enterprise leadership in the United States.
